Twain Prize 2022: Latest

When Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson sat next to each other at the 23rd annual Mark Twain Prize For American Humor on Sunday, they looked like they were having a good time.

The reality star, 41, wore a black sequined gown to the star-studded ceremony, which honours artists who have unquestionably changed the world of comedy. Her hair was slicked back in a low ponytail.

Richard Pryor was the first person to get the award, and Dave Chappelle was the last person to get it in 2019.

It has been a long time since Chappelle came under fire for long parts of his recent stand-up comedy specials that many people thought were transphobic.

Bill Cosby, who won the award in 2009, had his honour taken away in 2018 because he was found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault. His conviction was overturned in June 2021 by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, making him free again.

As of 2021, six years after he left The Daily Show for a new show called The Problem With Jon Stewart, Stewart is back on TV with a new show called The Problem With Jon Stewart, which premiered on Apple TV+ in late September.
