Valerie Bertinelli files for divorce from husband Tom Vitale
Tom Vitale's wife Valerie Bertinelli has officially filed for divorce.
On May 12, the 62-year-old actor and television personality filed for divorce from each other in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to documents acquired by TODAY.
On January 1, 2011, Bertinelli married Vitale, a financial advisor. The host of "Valerie's Home Cooking" filed for divorce from her spouse in November 2021.
As of December 2019, Vitale and Bertinelli have been divorced, according to divorce papers just filed. The prenuptial agreement "is in full force and effect and totally binding on the parties," according to the Uswhispers
Bertinelli and Vitale aren't married and don't have children of their own.
An Instagram video of her replying to a fan's comment about her looking depressed was posted Monday.
According To Uswhispers
On TODAY in January, she told Hoda Kotb that "we went through a lot of hell." Due to the fact that we met so young and were immature, "we weren't particularly good to one other at a lot of moments in our life."
Then, Bertinelli said, "But I'm so happy that we were able to arrive to a beautiful place by the end of his life. In my heart, I miss him."
She also discussed her book, "Enough Already: Learning to Love the Way I Am Today," which she wrote earlier this year. During the final moments of Van Halen's life, the celebrity chef said in her biography that she and her son Wolfgang, 31, were in the same room as the late rocker.
For her, "I love you" was the final thing Ed spoke to Wolfie and her before he died, and for her, it was the last thing she said to him.
She claimed that even after their divorce, she and her ex-husband remained close friends.
Bertinelli also discussed her marriage to Vitale during her appearance on TODAY in January.
