Stranger Things Season 4
The Hellfire Club has been summoned to action! While the season 4 premiere of Stranger Things was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the anticipation is still high and it's all coming together!
To Gaten Matarazzo, who plays the character Dustin Henderson, "I think most people would probably say it's the scariest [season] out of the previous three," he said exclusively to Us Weekly in January 2021.
There are various supernatural occurrences that affect the town of Hawkins, Indiana, which is the setting for this hugely popular Netflix show. One of the show's stars is Millie Bobby Brown, along with Finn Wolfhard and Caleb McLaughlin.
Whether or not Jim Hopper (Harbour) had died in the season 3 finale, which premiered in July 2019, remained one of the series' biggest mysteries. During the first teaser for season 4, which premiered in February 2020, the answer was revealed: Hopper vanished in a mysterious machine and was found in Russia.
At first, "I guess most of the cast had a pretty good idea he might be returning, but they weren't too sure about it," the New Jersey-native said in January 2021. This was all pretty clear when we finally made it to the table read and started reading together. "However, seeing David there confirmed our suspicions."
'From Russia With Love' was the season 4 teaser that gave fans a glimpse of Hopper's final destination. Upon his return to Hawkins with a shaved head, the former chief of police appeared to be stuck in a snowbound Russia.
Harbour previously shared that there would be "a big, huge reveal about Hopper's backstory" during an appearance at 2019's Liverpool Comic Con, adding that season 4 was "definitely going to be a lot scarier than prior years."
