John Wick Chapter 4 does not open in theatres until March 24, but that did not stop star Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski from providing an early look to exhibitors at Caesars Palace Colosseum Theatre.
The trailer for the Tokyo-set film begins with John Wick training in a gym. "Are you ready, John?" enters Laurence Fishburne's Bowery King. "Yeah," he responds. It's a new day, and the town has new bullies. What is John's option? "I'm going to kill them all" — whether by swirling automobiles or slamming them in art galleries. "I want you to find peace, John," Winston, played by Ian McShane, says. "The only way out of this is death."
"Chad, as you may know, was a stuntman first," Lionsgate Chairman Joe Drake explained before introducing the duo onstage. It's uncommon for someone to transition from driving off cliffs to sitting in the director's chair... Typically, it is the reverse."
