Joe Alwyn's Relationship Love Story

In May 2017, it was revealed that the Grammy-winning artist has been quietly dating British actor Joe Alwyn for months. Though the exact date of their first meeting is unknown, fans think that Swift and Alwyn met during the 2016 Met Gala.

Since then, the couple has had some lovely moments in public, but many specifics about their courtship have remained private. Swift revealed in a 2019 interview with The Guardian why she avoids discussing her relationship with Alwyn, saying, "I've learnt that if I do, people assume it's open for discussion, and our relationship isn't."

The pair has, however, provided fans with peeks into their lovely love story — Alwyn made a brief appearance in Swift's Miss Americana documentary, and the two even collaborated on a few songs for her album Folklore.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn's connection is detailed below, from their small moments of support through their joint Grammy win.

The actor has been promoting his forthcoming show, Conversations With Friends, and referred to his Grammy Award triumph as a "ridiculous bonus."

During the lockdown, Alwyn established himself as a professional songwriter by collaborating with his longtime girlfriend Taylor Swift on her albums Folklore and Evermore. While Swift first used the pen name William Bowery, she later revealed that her co-writer on the song was actually her boyfriend. When asked how they ended up working together, Joe stated that it was not intentional.

As he stated, "It came about as a result of tinkering with a piano and singing terribly, then being overheard and thinking, 'Let's see what happens if we finish this together.' I know that the term "fun" is a loaded one, but it was a lot of fun. And it was never a work-related decision or a 'Let's try this because we're going to release this' decision. It was exactly like creating sourdough in a lockdown situation ", courtesy of The Guardian.
