In the season 18 finale, Jesse Williams and Sarah Drew will reunite in Grey's Anatomy. The show was created by Shonda Rhimes in 2005 for ABC and is the network's lengthiest scripted primetime drama.
Several performers, though, who didn't even appear for the entire run of the show, are still linked with it. Jesse Williams, who plays Jackson Avery, and Sarah Drew, who plays April Kepner, are two of the most well-known of them, having started as recurring characters in season 6 before being moved to the entire characters in season 7. Kepner is a trauma expert, and Avery is a cosmetic surgeon. They fall in love, married, and have two children, one of whom suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta type II throughout their many trials.
Despite the fact that the pair divorced in season 12 when Williams left the programme, their characters reconnected to run the Harper Avery Foundation in Boston, and the prospects for a reunion seemed promising. According To Uswhispers.com Jackson and April (unofficially dubbed "Japril") will return for the season 18 finale, according to Entertainment Weekly. "You Are the Blood," the episode, will premiere on May 26, 2022. The episode will most likely follow up on their rumoured reunion, but in true Grey's fashion, getting back together may not be as easy as it appears.
Grey's Anatomy is gearing up for an explosive season finale, as it always is. Because the programme has already been renewed for season 19, fans won't have to worry about any cliffhangers being resolved. However, it's likely that this is the final time Japril shows onstage for the time being, so they'll be able to get some closure soon.
