Claims: Parent Of son Hudson
In a recent statement to Us Whispers, Christina Haack said that her ex-husband Ant Anstead's actions had "seriously devastated" her. After the pair formalised their divorce in June 2021, the Wheeler Dealers host filed for revising their custody agreement and asking for full custody of their 2-year-old son, Hudson.
"What Ant is doing greatly saddens me," Haack said in her statement, adding, "If this was truly about Hudson, as he claims, this should have been handled quietly with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my counsel have recommended." According to legal docs obtained by TMZ and reported by Us Weekly, Anstead claimed that in the last two years, Haack has only spent an average of nine days per month with their son Hudson. He also accused Haack of being a "terrible mom," which she denied in her statement even as she recognised her flaws.
"I have had my share of ups and downs," the HGTV personality said, "but I am a good mom." She added, "I love my children with all of my heart and I will always defend them."
Meanwhile, in an Instagram post hours before Anstead's judicial hearings, Haack left a cryptic statement that stated, "When a toxic person loses control of you, they will try to control how others perceive you, according to the Wellness Remodel author. "The misinformation will feel unjust, but you will remain above it, confident that others will finally see the truth as you did." Jill Blakeway is a writer.
