Cannes Festival 2022
According To Uswhispers The 75th Cannes Film Festival, which will take place from May 17 to May 28, 2022, is the world's largest film festival. The film Top Gun: Maverick, starring Tom Cruise, will have its world premiere at the festival, and there will be a tribute to the actor. To honour The Truman Show, the festival's official poster was designed (1998)
The French-language remake of Shinichiro Ueda's 2017 zombie comedy "One Cut of the Dead," "Final Cut," is a zombie comedy. A lifetime achievement award was given to Forest Whitaker, and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke via video at the opening ceremony.
French Riviera city of Cannes is located in the south-west of France. Michel Hazanavicius's "Final Cut" may be the worst Cannes opening-night film ever, but I can't think of any others right now. The film's first press screening, held at the same time as its public debut, received a warm reception from critics and audiences alike.
The story follows the crew and cast of a low-budget production as they attempt to livestream their film and deal with the personal and technical issues that arise.
Hazanavicius flings the camera around, plays with the palette, and juggles a slew of busy parts and scrambling actors in the midst of blood, vomit, and diarrhoea. Bérénice Bejo, his regular star (and wife) is an overzealous actress who takes commitment to an alarmingly high level, effortlessly.
Even though Romain Duris is a talented actor, his presence in the film overshadows Bejo's easy charm and erratic comic timing in Hazanavicius' "The Artist," which is a far more successful example of the movies' long-standing love affair with their own self.
