According to the Uswhispers, Adele plans to perform in Las Vegas from 'late summer' to the end of 2022. In January, she postponed her original residency.
Adele could be heading back to Las Vegas in just a few short months. The 33-year-old superstar is reportedly in talks to reschedule her highly anticipated residency show for “late summer” at a new venue: the Zappos Theatre at Planet Hollywood Hotel,. The property is part of the same company as Caesars Entertainment, which owns her original venue The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
According to the outlet, the Grammy winner and her team are in "serious talks" with Planet Hollywood, and she would have "complete creative control" over the show. Notably, Planet Hollywood has hosted big residencies in the past, including Britney Spears' 'Piece Of Me' and Jennifer Lopez's 'All I Have' shows. PH was also the home of Gwen Stefani's 'Just A Girl.' If Adele does really move to the bigger arena, which has 7,000 seats compared to Caesars Palace's 4,100, she will also take a larger cut of sales.
Fans were taken aback when the singer abruptly postponed her planned run, which was slated to begin on January 21st. "I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready," she said in a sad Instagram video at the time. She went on to mention "delays" with COVID-19.
Adele was meant to do a residency in Caesars Palace's Colosseum earlier this year, but the show was cancelled due to what she initially said was a COVID epidemic, but it was later revealed that the postponement was due to creative concerns.
Our sources claim Adele will enjoy a lot of privileges at Zappos, including complete creative control over the show. And, get this: we're informed Adele will get a big part of ticket sales, which is a big deal since Zappos seats 7,000 people versus The Colosseum's 4,100.
The official schedule is still being finalised, but the goal is for a late summer start that will last through the end of 2022, which makes logical given her recent announcement that she wants to have a baby in 2023.
