A GoFundMe page has been established for the victim of a car-on-train collision in South Los Angeles
One of the individuals who was hurt in an accident that included a Metro Blue Line train in South Los Angeles is continuing to make a recovery, and there is now an attempt underway to gather money for her and her family.
The collision, which took place just before Christmas, resulted in a compact SUV being cut in two down the middle. The woman who was riding in that automobile suffered terrible injuries, and according to her family, she has a long road ahead of her to get better.
They report that the preschool teacher was on her way to pick up some milk for her baby child when the accident occurred. A fundraising campaign on GoFundMe has been established to support the woman's children and spouses as they go through this challenging period.
A Metro Blue Line train was involved in a terrible collision in South Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, which resulted in two individuals being hurt and a sports utility vehicle being completely dismembered.
"They not only lost their vehicle but also the car seats for their children. Because of her condition, she won't be able to work "remarked Crystal Solis, the cousin.
"It's a two-income home, and I know that they depend on each other to make ends meet, and we just really want to make sure that people know that they will need the support," said the person. "We just really want to make sure that people know that they will need the help."
According to the woman's family, she has already undergone three surgical procedures, and they are currently waiting to find out what more therapy she may require.
